TIPS and TRICKS

After playing the game for as long as I can remember, I am able to predict the movement of most players in the game. I have my fair share of winning and fair share of losing as well. Some games are also just too painful to remember. (yes placing 2nd after a long game is no fun at all). But of course, I was able to learn a thing or two from my experience.

1. Surviving longer

Its not all about the kills. Getting 16 kills in the game does not mean anything if you are killed later in the game. Players should avoid titled location which means places with names on the map. instead, go to places with a few buildings. Players can be well equipped from just going to a few isolated buildings. Another thing to consider is not following your team or making them fly and land with you. Remember, resources and weapons are limited. Travelling alone also helps conceal your location as your teammates are not visible towards enemies. Stealth is Health.

2. Going for airdrops

Airdrops are wonderful. It contains high level armory and high powered weapons. However, you are not the only one eyeing on the airdrop. Other players are also keen on getting the precious loot. An advise, when you hear a plane flying above you, quickly run towards or drive towards the plane as an airdrop is soon to be released. If the airdrop is too far, forget about it and move on. It is not worth the risk as other players that are nearer to the airdrop may collect it first. When an airdrop is landed near you, make sure to throw 1 or 2 smoke grenade around the surrounding. It helps conceal your location even if enemies know you are collecting. Other players will not be able to get a clear shot of you. Make sure you equip a gun that you want to exchange from the airdrop to speed up the process.

3. No such thing as Hiding

When you are shooting at a moving vehicle, two things will happen. first thing is that, the person being shot at will drive away from range. Another scenario is when the person being shot at try to retaliate. When this happens, they usually come down from their vehicle and take cover behind their vehicle. Those players are naive. If you keep hitting the vehicle instead of the players, continue what you are doing and throw a couple of frag grenades at the vehicle. This helps because, even if players are not hitting the target, the enemy’s car will explode and that alone is enough to wipe out an entire squad. Also, it is important to run away after exploding the vehicle or killing the enemy. Staying at the scene of the crime will attract potential enemies.

4. Knockout is as good as a Kill

When faced one to one depending on the mode at play, a knockout is as good as a kill. When players knockout an enemy and feels that the surrounding is safe, continue shooting the enemy till he is dead. but, if you know that their teammate is around, make a knockout and hide. The enemy’s teammates may heal them and this is your opportunity to make another knockout or kill. Do not for a second think that the more kill you have, the better you are at winning. Expect the unexpected. I had to learn that the hard way.

5. Smoke Grenades is a life saver

Smoke Grenades in my earlier days of playing in the game means nothing to me. Now, i must collect at least 6 to 8 smoke grenade. It is a must for me. First of all, smoke grenades can help conceal and protect players when reviving or healing. Smoke grenades are the best diversions. Throwing smoke grenade away or in front of you will help enemies direct their attention off you and towards the smoke, helping players move and hide in different location or making a run for it.  Since the circle in the final round is small, throwing smoke grenades will help confuse enemies.
