Airdrop is an uncommon equipment that randomly drop from airplanes in the Battlegrounds. It contains ammunition, weapons, equipment and other things. Player can get it by hearing the buzzing sound of plane when they are playing. A red smoke effect will appear on the airdrop so that every player in the game can find it.
After the newest update, there is a new type of air drop called Custom Air Drops. This type of air drop is also named as Super Air Drops or Flare Drops. As we can see from the name itself, this air drop can only be called in by a flare gun. Whenever a player fires a flare gun upwards inside the safe zone, it signals a C-130 to drop a super air drop at the position the flare gun was fired at. When a flare gun is fired outside the safe zone, a bulletproof UAZ car will be sent instead of a super air drop. The super air drop is bulkier than a normal airdrop and is supported by 3 parachutes. Unlike the normal airdrop, this airdrop releases yellow smoke instead. This type of airdrop normally contains items that can be obtained from 2 normal airdrops. This means that with a super airdrop, you will be able to get 2 crate-exclusive weapons along with other top tier items. An example would be a Mk14 and a AWM with a whole set of level 3 armour and bag.
